Role Description This is a full-time Web3 Developer role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a mix of in-office and work-from-home days. The Web3 Developer will design, implement, and maintain smart contracts and back-end services that integrate with blockchain networks. The role involves developing and testing APIs, building secure communication layers between front-end applications and decentralized protocols, and optimizing performance for high-traffic environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, collaborating with product and design teams on technical solutions, and monitoring production systems for reliability and security. The Web3 Developer will also research emerging Web3 technologies, contribute to technical documentation, and help define best practices for secure blockchain development at Aries Technologies.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful or GraphQL APIs and integrating services with databases and external systems.
• Proficiency in Software Development practices such as version control (Git), testing, debugging, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Advanced Programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Python) and familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains, or other L1/L2 networks) and smart contract development using tools such as Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry, or similar.
• Knowledge of Web3 libraries and frameworks (e.g., ethers.js, web3.js, Wagmi) and best practices for secure contract design and transaction handling.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and collaborate in a hybrid work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or Azure) is beneficial.
